Please Check For The Nvidia MX150 Graphics Compatibility

Hello Everyone,

I'm running the game Apex Legends on my laptop with the following specifications:

  • 8th Generation Intel® Core™ i7 Processor
  • 8GB Ram
  • 4GB Nvidia MX150 Graphics Card

But something is different with this game. I'm running the game on the lowest graphics setting and the game is still not playable without adaptive FPS target on and barely get 30 fps.

I think the game is not using the full MX150 power. I can clearly notice that when I run other heavy games smoothly and compare the temperature difference that the device reaches (The device became much hotter). So it's very clear that the Apex Legends game is not using the full MX150 graphics card potential.

  • I'm sure the game is running on the discrete graphics card
  • I tried all Nvidia Reflex options
  • I tried to turn off Nvidia Optimus technology

Can you please check for that?

  • The problem is solved finally after 3 seasons of struggling, I changed a few options but I'm not sure which one fixed it

    • Prefer maximum performance in the Nvidia control panel
    • Add the game to run on the Nvidia card through Windows 10 Graphics settings (Very useful option to use with chrome, video player, etc)
    • Turn on: Reduce latency and improve performance option in Windows 10 graphics settings

    Thank you
