PS4 Controller issues on Apex

Any time I'm playing Apex at random points in the game my character will be uncontrollable. They will spin uncontrollably, won't stop running, and all controls stop working for brief period of time. ...

    Ah, I see. Thanks for clarifying that for me!

    Have you checked out the controller dead zone settings in Apex Legends to see if that helps at all?

Hey @XX1EL_DiabloXX. 

Do you have any other devices connected to your PS4 at the moment? If so, try disconnecting every other device besides the controller. Let me know if you're still seeing any weird control issues afterward.

Hello. I have just gotten on brand new controller nr 3 in the last week trying to resolve this issue. I even tried uninstalling and re-installing the game.

nothing works.


I play on PS4 using an original dualshock v2.

I only experience this using the dualshock controllers. It’s like the game stops supporting the controller. Connected via bluetooth. The deadzone is set to large. 

has there been a fix to this problem yet?

    Hey @Stefaen91, 


    Do you have any other devices connected to your PS4 at the moment aside from your controller? If so, can you try disconnecting all other devices to see if that makes any difference at all?

      @EA_Kent Same problem here, the game randomly get's uncontrollable.
