PS4 PRO Stuttering video in high graphic-intensive areas since last update

Since the update that happened last week (FEB 8, 2022), whenever I'm in an area that contains a lot of graphics (ONLY TIME IT DOES THIS), my ps4 video is distorted, almost as if the hardware isn't capable of handling all the scenery. When I get in a battle, I can't even see what I'm shooting at. This is NOT an internet issue and the group I play with, who also use PS4 said they don't notice it. To clarify, it's not "lag", although it does resemble similar symptoms. I have experienced lag before and when that happens you'll see a little icon at the top of the screen. Since I moved to a LAN cable, I haven't had that issue. 

I'm on a PS4 PRO with an AOC 23 inch 144hz gaming monitor. The only difference between our setups is that they use 60hz screens and they only have a regular PS4. My PS4 also is not overheating and not in an enclosed area. I can play any other game with no issues AND I don't experience this on any other maps, other than Olympus.

The reason I'm asking is because I don't see anything in the settings that allows me to change video settings. Aside from the monitor being different, our game settings are the same. The only difference is that I have "display video performance" enabled. If nobody else is experiencing this, I may hook up my 60hz monitor and see if the issue lies there. Obviously I'd much rather NOT move monitors so I'm hoping someone has a fix.
