(PS4) R2 trigger unresponsive Apex Legends

Hi,

So today, mid way through a game after i got 1 kill i realised my r2 trigger does nothing, therefore i cannot shoot, throw grenades etc.

Cant find anything on this issue.

will most likely just reinstall apex to my annoyance if there is nothing as i cant seem to solve the situation.

    @Player_mgdwegp0 

    I would try a quick power cycle to see if that helps clear this up. Have you had the controller for a while and is the R2 button considered loose? 

    1. Touch the power button on the front of the PS4 for at least 7 seconds (until the system beeps twice).
    2. Turn it back on after 1 minute. Launch the game.
