Rank Reset

I got reset back to silver 2 when the split happened today. Part of the rank says I’m silver 2 and my emblem by my name says plat 4. Any way to fix this so I can play with my friends?

    Between Splits 1 and 2, Respawn have implemented what they're calling a soft reset. This means that, at the start of Split 2, players saw their ranked positions reset by 1.5 tiers down.
    Those in Gold II were knocked down to Silver IV, Platinum IV players were reset to Silver II, whoever managed to reach Apex Predator started again at Platinum II, and so on.

I was Plat III before the split and now ranked down to Gold I. 
On the bottom left it shows that I’m Gold I but on the top, above the legend it shows that I’m still Plat III. It won’t let me join my friends in Gold and I can’t get into a game solo.. things are going well at the moment.

    Start of season 8 and my rank won’t reset. I’ve played 4 ranked games.
