I would ask all of you people with Phenom CPU's who want to play Apex Legends to flock towards social media. Reddit, Twitter, Instagram anything.
Keep it polite but ask anyone to ask Respawn Entertainment for an answer to this question.
Let them know we will not give up and we will continue to ask for support!
what's weird to me is that this game even lets us get through all the menus and only crashes at the loading screen to get into a match.
now correct me if im wrong but usually other games with this problem dont even boot AT ALL 🤔
@comfysloth That is correct, normally games that are unable to run on a Phenom AMD CPU do not even boot up.
In this case we are able to run the game, get inside the menu's, but once you try training it's a crash to desktop. Like it's loading up an entirely different game.
We need OFFICIAL WORD from @Respawn on this matter

The math here is pretty simple:
A ton of people are playing this game so why should EA care about a few hundret maybe one or two thousand?
I bet there was a discussion "how many have this problem? nono, in percent? that low? NAH we're not going to do anything"

That "EA response" was just a forum mod. The developers themselves have said they are working on fixing it. EA are not the developers of the game, if you were unaware.
This is the biggest issue on the EA Apex technical support page. By far. No way they can just ignore it, right??

It has been acknowledged as an issue and passed on to devs. A member of Respawn saying they're looking into it means more than an EA forum mod posting system specs

Well as far as I know "Community Manager" is not "some forum mod". And the dev on reddit is being silent since then. So yeeeeah.
I have the same thing, everything goes very smoothly and with a bang, all the models, tabs, settings, everything goes fine, but as I go into battle or training, then immediately fly to the desktop.
Yall need to fix this and stop giving us this * answer that the game isn't possible to run on this CPU.
It IS possible. It boots unlike any other game missing SSE 4.1 instruction set fix.

Yeah. The worst thing - regarding the support is that EA just marked this thread as solved. Just like that. Without actually solving the problem.
Please everyone, do everything you can. Hit up Reddit and Twitter, tweet @VinceZampella the head of Respawn studios.
Let them know this is not cool and we are hoping for a patch to play

It's a brave new world where gamers have many ways to communicate their concerns and evoke detailed responses and action.
Importantly, we're trying to play and support this game.
God damn this is annoying, like literally every streamer is playing apex and every other commercial is for it. I can't play and I'm tired of watching it but it's everywhere...

attack devs or anyone when you're sending a message to them. Let's not turn this into an entitled child fight. I know this is extremely annoying and just shoving everyone to the side like that sucks but let's net go down some path we'd regret taking 😉
