Re: Apex Cross-Progression: Items not on PC

Hey @tabbsgaming,

Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress.

That may be relevant here as I'm not seeing this EA account has ever launched Apex on Xbox, meaning your Xbox content is still likely on whichever EA account it was linked to prior to this one.

You would need to re-link your Xbox to the original EA account to try recovering that progress.

We have some additional information about this particular situation in our blog and guides below, but if you have any issues re-linking your accounts please reach back out to support so they can help get your platform account back to its original EA account.

  • Hello,

    After looking into this for some time to see if your solution worked, nothing has happened. In fact, my Xbox data seems to have been replaced with my PC data... So yeah, thanks.

    Anyway, I have Xbox screenshots of me obtaining the heirloom I want back if I could, as I believe I've spent enough money during the time it came out to have it back. If you believe that to be impossible to do so, I want my money back instead.

    Thanks.

    Hey @tabbsgaming,

    Just to clarify, have you since tried moving the Xbox account back to its original EA account?

    I'm showing it's still linked to this current EA account, which as mentioned before, is not the account with your progress.

    The current EA account you're posting with has only ever launched Apex on Xbox extremely recently, so if you played on Xbox in the past and had an heirloom, that would have been while this Xbox account was connected to a different EA account. That EA account is where the progress would be, not the one you're posting from currently.

    Your progress cannot transfer here from a different EA account, so you would need to try re-linking this Xbox account to whichever EA account it was linked to in the past.

  • Could you please tell me what account supposedly has my Xbox progress? Because I don't have/should not have an alternative account. Also my PC account has been used before many times so I'm not understanding why you say it was only used recently?

    @tabbsgaming

    Whoops, my mistake there. I meant on Xbox as with the rest of the sentence. Edited the post to correct that!

    This EA account has only launched Apex on Xbox for the first time within the past couple days. So, as you've played on Xbox before, that would have been while it was linked to a different EA account.

    If you're not sure what account that could be or no longer have access to a particular email/account, it would be best to speak with support directly to try and track that down or re-link the account as needed. We wouldn't be able to provide specific account details here on the forums I'm afraid.
