Re: Apex legends bug on steam deck after season 21 update

For your guy's sake I will be up testing for new patches and informing this forum will be first thing I do I will also try use EAs support to get answers, we can just hope theres a linux patch by the morning.

@KOLLIXDE777 The latest bleeding edge proton has the fix required now. Search for Proton Experimental in your steam library and change the beta to "bleeding-edge" (NOT bleeding-edge-8.0) and then set Apex Legends to Proton Experimental. This patch actually fixes the issue properly, and should have no danger of false bans or security issues.

EDIT: I can confirm this works, in the lobby now!
Unfortunately, the game is still unplayable due to freezing in game. I freeze practically every time I pick up a gun.
