Re: Apex legends crashing without error

Back to crashing! 😞

To minimize my crash frequency I've to cap at 60 FPS. But the crashes still happen. I've done everything from the tutorial already /:

The past week seemed to stabilize, but now it got worst again. Not sure if is totally random, client or server wise...

CPU i5 6600

Rx580, 16GB ram, SSD, etc..

Dual Monitor setup (144hz+60hz, playing on the 144hz one)

(I can play most of other games with 144++ FPS)

    Same here, i'm on a RX 580 Armor 8Go.

I tried in this order :

    - Lowered the graphics, games still crash.

    - uninstalled Apex and origin and reintalled, worked for a 1 day but then games still crash.

    - Fixed my FPS to 60 and 80 woked a bit but games still crash.

    - Monitored what's happening to my sytem when games crash : task manager no CPU overload or overheating, Afterburner my GPU temps is normal

    - Every other games run smooth

Someday i'll may be crash once but last night it was terrible crashing everygame at the start middle or end their is not a real pattern they simply need to fix the game

Well I've managed to fix it supposedely (it was the problem of fx-6300 crashing, both with and without errors).

What I had to do is change the power options ( On windows 7 : control panel -> power options -> change plan settings -> change advanced power settings and change processor power management MAXIMUM to 99% if it was 100%.), as well as turning off turbo mode in bios/AMD overdrive software (for amd overdrive you go into : performance control -> clock/voltage -> turbo core control ->  and click next to enable turbo core so its disabled). Played for 3 hours without a crash FOR NOW (before those changes I've gotten a crash every 30~ minutes). Will keep the topic updated when I play more.

I fixed it for me: I went to the latest ati beta driver 19.2.3 and set the fps to max 50. I also start as adim and set it in compatibily to Win 8.  It runs well since several days. Not a single crash...
