I also can't use Adrenalin overlay like this.
When I want to change something (during the game) I had to press Win+D to bring the desktop and then open the Adrenalin from tray.

Yes, I do the same things even when I want to record it freezes, I don't know if this was a problem with the adrenalin drivers or just in apex
