Yeah, I am getting pretty pissed with this, been a full day I haven't been able to play. On a Saturday, one of the only times I have time to play.

- I think link to Steam option is the main culprit, can the dev please unlink it since we are stuck in infinite loop & cannot enter the menu to unlink it. My other account without Steam access is working just fine while the one linked to Steam is having an infinite loop.
This has nothing to do with linking Steam account. I literally created a new Origin account and launched Apex and it is stuck in infinite loading screen even after trying every single suggestion in all these 31 pages.
I've seen people in this thread say it was fixed by running as admin, clearing origin cache, reinstalling the game, reinstalling origin, changing DNS servers, unsetting 'read only' on their saved game folder, waiting 5 mins in the loading screen, using a new account, applying HerbaLife natural oils (TM), praying to the flying spaghetti monster, etc.
None of this has worked for me and for many others, so @EA_Cade you should probably be aware that there are a lot of red herrings in this thread.
My guess is that either
- the problem is intermittent in nature so people are doing random things and saying it fixed it
- 'infinite loading screen' is what the game will do if there are *any* problems during startup, so all the people in this thread who think they have the same issue are actually experiencing a bunch of completely different problems.

Hey all, thanks for your patience while we look into this issue.
We are seeing reports from some users that last nights patch fixed the issue for them. If the recent patch fixed the issue for you then would you mind sharing your Origin username with us so that we can look into it.
For those still seeing the issue after the patch would you mind sharing the following information so that we can investigate this further:

Some users are reporting that flushing your DNS can fix the issue. You can find the steps to flush your DNS in this help article: https://help.ea.com/en-us/help/pc/connection-troubleshooting-advanced-pc/
For anyone still seeing this issue would you mind trying the steps below to unlink your Apex Legends account from your Steam account as many users are reporting that it is solving the loading issue
- The first thing you will need to do is to create a new Steam account: https://store.steampowered.com/join/
- Once done ensure that Apex Legends is fully closed
- In your browser search history, you will need to locate the URL of the page you used when linking your EA and Steam account. You should be able to locate it by copy and pasting https://accounts.respawn.com/steam_login.php?securityToken into your browser. The page should be the same as the image below:
- On this page click on "Sign in through Steam".
- On the Steam page, you will need to log into the steam account you created in step One. It is important that you do not sign into you already linked Steam account.
- Once logged into the new account you should see a window telling you that your account is now linked. Make sure you save this URL address as you may need it again in order to link Apex Legends to your primary Steam account.
- Open Origin again and launch Apex Legends.

Got same Problem here, tried to re-link to an empty Steam Account but the only thing i see is:

- My fix was to change data center.
When on the loading screen (with white circle) for the second time, hit ESC and click on "data Center" at the bottom in the middle.
Choose any data center that gives good ping (Avoid -1).
This fixed all the loading problems for me.

By the way i tried on 4 other account without linking them to steam and i still have the problem, even after the patch, updated my nvidia card, updated windows etc.. i'm out of options.

I found out steam was the problem when i launched the game with my other origin account , the thing is as i usually delete all my cookies and history i can not unlink my account myself , could you please do it for me , since i'd like to keep my progression , by the way , i had this problem since day 1 basicly and i'm very very happy to have found out what the problem was , i did pretty much everything to find out .

*EDIT* So i actually unlinked my steam account from my origin account manually , i managed to get the link back by logging in luckily , cause it happens sometimes , and clicked on the link for my steam account thing , and unlinked my account from there , tried to disconnect and log back on , didn't work , then I tried linking another new steam account with no friends , fresh made , still didin't work , yet when i try to connect to apex legend on an alternate Origin account , it works just fine
My question is : What is wrong with my current account , and am i gonna loose my 40hours progression and countless wins ? I'm in need of any sort of help from origin , can you delete this steam thing and go on with the great game you made so all of us with this problem can just play the game as we wish we could .
I haven't linked my Steam account and I continue to get this issue, Reinstalled everything 4-5 times. Deleted Origin and reinstalled 3 times. Still unable to get passed the loading screen.
Try logging in with another Origin account .

After the patch on Wednesday, I couldnt get past the loading screen. I had linked my steam account to the apex account the day before
What solved it for me was:
Creating a new steam account and linking the apex account to that one, that allowed me to get past the loading screen.
The first thing I did after getting in was to unlink the account from steam, never touching that option again.
