Ok here's what i ve tried and worked out for me. I went to library>apex legends>right click on apex icon> properties>controller>enable steam input.
Then i launched steam and it recognized my controller input! although idk if this is a correct way to do, because i dont feel i have aim assist at all cause i can play with mouse and controller at the same time lmao. - WhiteClawQueen4 years agoNot applicable
