Re: EA app do not understand i am playing apex on steam
@BeratSOIL This is working as intended.
Both launchers track your playtime of the game when launched through the respective platform. (In other words, the EA App doesn't track playtime in Steam and vis versa).
This also extends to the Achievements. You would have to "unlock" them again on any platform you play on, such as:
- EA App
- Steam
- Epic Games
- Xbox
- PlayStation
The Switch doesn't use achievements from what I know of, so that's the only exception. However, the achievements don't have an impact on your progression and most of the achievements should automatically unlock after you "progress" them, (such as dealing damage and being the jump master).
Lastly, the games marked with the Steam tag on the EA App are games you own directly through Steam. These purchases are either cross-platform between the EA App and Steam, or the EA App is required when launching the game through Steam.
