bro did you not read my post, disabling cores does nothing now, you might get crash-free games for 1, 2, heck maybe even 10 hours, but you will eventually crash this i 100% guarantee more than your fix.
@7JG26Godman I've been playing for 6days now after i disabled my 5th and 6th core, I didn't get a single crash, if this didn't work for you then maybe do every other fix that EA tells you to do along with it.
- No I'm good I'm not about to weaken my system to play a f2p BR
i disable the 5th and 6th core, still crashing, my fx 6300 is OC at 4ghz is that the reason mby? no way im lowering clock, i lost enough preformance already...

Hey, all.
We don't have any updates to share at the moment but the team is still investigating this and committed to improving stability for PC users. Respawn's Community Manager posted this up last Friday and is worth a read if you haven't checked it out yet.https://answers.ea.com/t5/General-Discussion/2-15-2019-An-Update-From-Respawn/m-p/7499686#M3821
Those disable 5th and 6th core fixes work, but at the expense of lowering my game performance by like 60% and even crashing because my computer cant handle it.
I don't have so much faith in a EA answer from someone that clearly doesn't know anything about the players problem. What is "stability for PC users"? This have nothing to do with your updates to improve PC perfomance, thats useless for us, we have a single focused problem related with the CPU, the game itself works well, but still kicking us out, first freezing both in lobby and matches, later on, saying that we have connection issues when we DON'T have connection issues.
If Respawn were focusing on this, it would be already solved, just feels that they are laughing on us becouse they have a solid enough player base at this moment.
I'm another of this FX-6300 users, and even if you don't care about me personally, I'm outraged with your priorities. It's close for me to just uninstall the game and just forget that it exists.
- Absolutely same here... Freezes and crash "memory could not be read", but the game itself works well! Please Respawn, fix this!
Unless you've got slow internet/limited bandwidth, I would just uninstall it for the time being. They definitely track # of uninstalls, reckon it'll be more effective than just having it sit on your drive in the hopes they release a fix, which I don't feel will be any time soon.
Hey guys, i've been having the "connection to the server has timed out" error for quite some time, i did everything i could find on the internet and the thing that literaly solved the issue was disabling two out of my 6 cores in BIOS on my FX-6300. If you didnt try it i suggest you do, the game is optimzed for 4 cores only as i heard.
- It's a known fix for the problem and i'm guessing that a big majority of people that are being affected by it know of it by now, with that said though, no one in their right mind would gimp their system for 1 game, its just not worth it
You are absolutely right.
I know about it and tested it 2 weeks ago. I just dont want to, thats the thing. Lowering my overall performance or constantly switching the 5.&6. core on and off is no solution, it's a hassle. I really enjoy playing the game but not under these circumstances.- BigTuna_5Head7 years agoNew Traveler
Fix your * gaaaaaaaaaame. Honestly, can't believe that it's taking so long. God damnit. Can't play without crashes. Crashing because of my CPU to server connections, then the game after I crash straight to the desktop because who [Word Removed - CM] knows why. Probably not even the devs. Make it playable already.
