Yes. If you're getting the invalid message when trying to log in, try resetting your password and see if it starts working again.

i assume its on Origin as of this point?

Can you try using an incognito browser instead? I just want to make sure there's no cookie issues causing this.

I am having the same problem on my playstation 4.  I have made sure the PSN email address is the same as my EA email address and I am still getting the "invalid account" error.
