As of this morning (about 8:30 AM EST), I appear to have been unbanned, no emails from EA yet and my ban history still says there's an active ban but I am able to queue into games without getting the "Banned: banned" message anymore, may be worth checking for others that had this issue?
@blinxington I'm also able to play again and also have no email confirmation or update on the ban history page.
Considering there's been no communication from an EA representative (or Respawn) it makes me wonder if they have temporarily disabled the enforcement of the bans while they work on a real fix. That would be concerning as there's a risk we'd just get banned again.
Hopefully someone from EA/Respawn can join the thread and provide some clarification! 🙂 @EA_David
- @ADAMPOKE111 Played probably like 10 or so games just now and seems to all be fine. Still needing an update from EA though & the ban to actually be removed from the ban history on our accounts.
Same over here played with my friends about 7 or 8 rounds of apex. Didn't counter any ban messages or kicks.
I am also able to queue into the range again!
Ban history still shows on my account, and EA continues to shut me down every time I dispute it.
They also still have yet to put out a formal statement, offer compensation for this, or even acknowledge the fact that it is occurring in the first place. That is not good PR for the company.
