If you are asking about my specs here they are:
32GB RAM
Intel i7-7820HQ @ 2.90GHz (8 CPUs)
2 video cards:
- Nvidia Quadro M2400 (4 GB RAM)
- Intel (R) HD Graphics
Sorry to bother but can you try and disable intel hd graphics in the bios? For some people it worked
For your visual c++ check:Just tried disabling Intel from the BIOS, did so, retried but didn't help.
Proceeded to get the EXACT same versions as on the picture, I have the exact versions of Visual C++, but the issue persists.
Still the loading icon spins forever (the spinning stops for milliseconds at the beginning as if it really is loading..., and then starting to spin smoothly forever - as if something has timed out).
Any other ideas?
- Well i spent several hours when I first installed the game to fix it.. What worked for me was getting my visual C++ libraries in check.. Then after a few days i decided to move my game to my samsung ssd.. Another five hours of repairing getting it to work (problem with samsung ssd rapid mode).. Since I didnt get exactly your type of error maybe somebody else can help you with it.. i can suggest a lot of thing to try but your patience is not so wide i think hehe
You can have all my patience, I am up to try anything.
Thank you for your help.
If you can suggest anything, hand it over 🙂
I just really want to play XD
- Bump? 🙂
- Yeah but dont ruin your pc just for 1 game hehe.. This some quick things:
-Do you have a samsung ssd by any chance? If so disable rapid mode..
-Disable all game overlay (origin xbox etc)
-Try setting the game in another language (like polish)
-Try running the game windowed
-Try reading Easy anti cheat troubleshooting:
https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/apexlegends/
-Try run apex.exe as administrator
-Try run apex.exe without windows full screen optimization (properties)
-Try ddu to uninstall every video driver and install latest driver:
https://www.guru3d.com/files-details/display-driver-uninstaller-download.html
-Try disable all non-microsoft services from services.msc (be careful take a screenshot so you can restore if it doesnt work)
-Make sure your are running latest .net framework
-Try running the game without firewall/internet security
-Try removing nvidia gaming experience/ afterburner overclocking tools
-Try running the game with a fps limiter command in origin (-fps_max 60) - Hi again,
None of the above really helped.
I tried logging from a different PC though, and the game ran fine, I was able to get past the loading screen.
On my PC though, the issue persists with ANY account I log into, what could the problem be?
I guess it has something to do with setup. - I have no idea, but I'm sure you can figure it out!🙂 So what exactly did you do to make it work from external pc? just external desktop through lan?
- Same Router (Network), other PC (my roommate). He just logged to my Origin account and launched the game from his PC, it went fine. I log into the game from my PC, loading screen forever.
The only difference is the computer setup. Network cannot be an issue since we are on the same router. Account apparently also is not an issue because he can play from my account. I am with clear Origin & apex installation, he also has clear origin & apex installation. We installed same ways. - I also don't think it is any firewall because I have everything disabled.
Can I try to trace the network requests while in loading screen somehow?
Maybe use Wireshark to record traffic while game is loading?
I can see where requests are made to.
I will try and give feedback - Feedback is always useful.. Let us know how u fixed it afterwards it might help some other people out
- I don't think I will manage to fix it on my own just by taking a look at Wireshark and identifying which request fails or timeouts.
Even if that happens I cannot fix the failing request.
Maybe some EA representative could comment here so I can contact him with Wireshark output so he could identify the issue and solve it for people experiencing the same problem?
I could export the results and hand them over for analysis too.
I haven't seen any EA representatives here, though. - Also there is this chance that it is not a request that fails.
Since we were on the same Network, the request would work (unless it is a firewall issue, but I don't have firewalls enabled).
There is the chance it is just corrupted files. - Well, I couldn't identify the issue on my own.
Now I will just wait for a patch hopefully including a fix. - UPDATE:
I did a clean windows installation on Dual Boot (vhdx).
The new installation I installed origin & apex.
The SAME problem persists on clean installation of windows in dual boot mode (used virtual hard drive).
I start to think it has something to do with Settings of video card or something else?
Anyone? - Or maybe video card incompatability?
I am running Quadro M2200 (4GB).
I don't find it in folder bin/dxsupport.cfg file where there are video cards listed.
But I cannot find my roomates video card either, and he can run it.
Anyone? - May the force be strong in this one ^^
Update:
Running it on the Intel HD graphics card also does not solve this issue.
So it is not video card related, it is not OS related ( I did clean windows install). And it is not network related since my roommates play fine.
Any EA representative?
Bump?
Bump! I hope the patch tomorrow fixes this.
Hey man, going through the same problem. Fresh game install, fresh OS, switched between HDD and SSD and nothing works. All we can do is wait...
- Bump. Anyone to update if the issue persists after the patch? I haven't had the chance to try it yet.
- Bump. Just tried it on the new patch, no change. Waiting new updates.
