@EA_Aljo the thing though is both my Steam and Xbox account are linked, Do I just unlink the Steam account or do i do something else?

You need to reverse the account linking. If I'm understanding you right, you unlinked your Xbox gamertag and linked it to a different EA account. You need to link your Xbox gamertag to the original EA account it was linked to.
I only have one EA account right now, as far as I know. It's just one EA account linked to both Steam and my Xbox gamertag.
Question, though, since I had changed my Xbox username after I have made my EA account, is that possibly why it's doing this whole loss thing?- EA_Aljo
When moving to Steam, not all of your progress carries over. Specifically, those cosmetic items.

You would have to go back to playing on Xbox. Since PC is a different platform, those cosmetics won't carry over.
