Re: [PlayStation] Error CE-108255-1 or crashing at login after the update

Hello,

I am experiencing the CE-108255-1 error again on Apex Legends PS5.

This issue already happened on May 29. I completely reset my PS5 at that time and the game worked again, but now the exact same problem has returned.

I have already tried:

  • Rebuilding the database
  • Clearing the cache
  • Restoring licenses
  • Reinstalling Apex Legends
  • Restarting the console

All my other PS5 games work perfectly. Only Apex Legends crashes.

The game crashes on the Apex Legends startup screen before reaching the main menu.

Could you please investigate if this is a known issue with the PS5 version of Apex Legends and provide a permanent solution?

Thank you.

    Hey Mohissou

The CE-108255-1 error is on the team's radar, and we have a main thread for this that I've merged your post into.

While we don't have a permanent solution at this time, we do have a workaround that's helped some players:

    1. Go to PS4 Settings > Application Saved Data Management
    2. Select Saved Data in System Storage
    3. Choose Apex Legends
    4. Delete those files

Please give those steps a try, if you haven't already, and let us know if the error persists. Thanks!
