If you change your name at PSN it shouldn't affect your progress on Apex. Other stuff would be if you play with a different PSN but in the same EA account, then, I suppose both PSN wouldn't share progress. But if the account is the same but changing the name, that shouldn't cause an issue on progress
@TheDynamicTaco can you tell me when you change your name if your progress is affected plz.
I would like to know also if there is any issues with ultimate team after changing names.

Changing names shouldn't cause any issue's.
If you find yourself having issue's / losing progress, feel free to contact a EA Advisor.
They will be able to assist with your issue.

Hi so I changed my gamer tag on psn and now it won’t let me sign into RA games because it says account error. When I looked at my linked accounts it has my old gamer tag idk what to do
I’m having the same problem did you find a fix for it or like me changing my psn name just make me loose all the money and time I spent on apex
