Re: The data on my Steam account was deleted because I linked my origin account

If you have missing progress or items after your EA account goes through the cross-progression process, this is most likely due to one of the following scenarios:

1. You linked, or started playing on your account after the Oct 2023 cut off date. This would make any progress or items not eligible to merge together with cross-progression
2. Your platform account was previously linked to a different EA account. This would cause you to lose progress, as progress/items are stored at the EA account level, when you unlock your platform account you don't take that progress with you. 
3. Your account was not in good standing 

If you fall into the second scenario, then you would want to relink your Steam account with its original EA account to attempt to restore progress.
