@PhantomFlame08 is the Switch in dock mode or in handel held does it make a difference if you try to log in?
I assume you looked for errors in the Switch history?
If you go to System Settings > Support > Error History does anything show there for the this event?
/Atic - PhantomFlame085 years agoNot applicable@EA_Atic Didn't make a difference with switch in dock or handheld mode.
No errors in Switch history at all for Apex.
Thank you for looking into this.
One quick question. Its asking for Public ID.... I am using what I have on my EA account here, without luck. My XBOX is linked to it but I can't link my switch (it won't let me past the log in screen). - EA_Atic5 years ago

Would that be the same ID that you have on here @PhantomFlame08?
And just to be sure system's time/date is correct on your Switch.
/Atic - PhantomFlame085 years agoNot applicable@EA_Atic @EA_Atic Yes. using phantomflame08 and my password (which does allow me to get to the EA website login).
no errors on switch
definitely same time/date
I just tried again and it gave me the same error message.
on the apex log in screen at the bottom it says
Unable to complete EA account sign in (Code 105). see ea.com for additional info
Data Center: St Lous (21-50ms 0%PL)
not sure if that's helpful

Its happening to me too, I'm now very annoyed but its a bug so it probably get fixed. I'm level 178 on my PS4 and this never happened to me there so I don't know why the switch has this problem

I figured it out! Under the Nintendo account, player’s date of birth must be the same as the date of birth under the EA account, otherwise it will fail. The other possible thing why it fails is due to Apex Legends PEGI 16. In my case the birthday was the problem, I fixed it and now it works.
Another problem is that Apex Switch version doesn’t support touchscreen (except virtual keyboard). It means you have to do everything using a virtual keyboard or using a buttons on your joycons/controller.

@WolverineReturns Thanks for sharing!
Could you take a look on the above and see if works the same for you? @PhantomFlame08 @MagnaJolt

thanks for your help throughout the day.
I think Wolverine Returns is onto something....
my son's account he is 12.5 years old.... I reached out to Nintendo and they won't let anyone who is < 13 play it, regardless, so that's maybe why?
He'll just have to wait until he's 13....

@EA_AticThank you for your help on this matter.
@PhantomFlame08Nintendo is known for its restrictions on protecting children. I am always playing online multiplayer games together with my 7 years old daughter and she is a very good player in battle royal games. How did I get it to work? I will not recommend what I did but this is one solution for the problem.
- First check time and date, they have to match your local time and date.
- Time and date internet updated has to be automatic.
- If the problem still exists, try to change EA account password, and give it another try.
- Still nothing? Then it is time to match birth of date on your Nintendo account and on your EA account. Nintendo do have a restriction on date of birth on different games, so keep that in mind.
This worked for me:
I have made a new accounts with 18+ date of birth, make sure it is everywhere exactly the same.
- new email account
- New local account on Nintendo switch
- New Nintendo Account on Nintendo’s website
- Linked Nintendo Account with Nintendo switch newly created local account
- New EA account (if you have already 18+ account, then use this account’s birthday on Nintendo Account)
- Launch Apex Legends with on Nintendo Switch with newly created local account.
- System recognizes immediately that you have an EA account, just login in.
- Play and enjoy Apex Legends.
