Okay, THIS kinda works for console (PS4) too. Someone still has to give it a try for XB since i'm not sure it will work there as well.

And also i suggest XB users to give it a try as well.
I'll lay out the steps here as well, but i recommend checking the tweet out as it has video evidence that might help you out.
- The timing for this to be fixed is CRUCIAL. It's okay, it took me about 15-20 minutes to get it right but it works. Don't give up. You have to make sure to have a rapid access to an option that allows you to disconnect and reconnect the internet. For PS4 i suggest you to go to Settings > Network > Connect to Internet. BUT don't disconnect yet. Just leave the option selected as this will create a shortcut for you to have a quick access to it. Then go back to the Apex Legends app.
- Click "x" to continue into the game. Now, this is where you have to time things right. When the screen goes black and you have the Apex logo on the inferior right corner of your screen, just as the third red bar of the loading logo is about to go down, double click your PS button on your controller to access the Connect to Internet shortcut we made on step 1. DISCONNECT and CONNECT your internet. Don't disconnect and leave it waiting. CONNECT immediately. Then go back to apex.
- If you timed it right, you will get into the lobby for just a bit longer. Here is where you have to expect ALL your rewards to drop spam "x" to collect as many rewards as you can.
- Now, it will most likely kick you out again. Don't worry. This means you still have more rewards to collect. So, go back to step 2 and repeat everything. Go back into the lobby and spam x as much as you can to collect everything. You may have to repeat this process 2-3 times. Don't worry.
- Once you've collected ALL rewards, you're good to go! You'll most likely be able to stay ingame, and you'll be able to play with no problems.
This worked for me, and i hope it works for other people as well.
