Recent Update Reset My In Game settings and steam configuration won’t work.

After this most recent update I’ve noticed a change in my game. All of my in game settings were reset (Which isn’t my main concern I just reverted to old settings). However my steam controller configuration for my Xbox elite series 2 loads every time I launch apex however when I go into the firing range to test the configuration out it is inexistant like it never loaded in the first place. I’ve had this issue since the update and have been trying to fix this issue however I see nothing online talking about it. I’ve done everything re downloaded steam re downloaded apex fixed corrupted files on my PC even went to lengths of buying a whole brand new controller and still no fix. Yet still none of the binds work but steam detects the controller loads the configuration everything. I feel like I’ve done everything possible and was wondering if anyone else is dealing with this issue or has a potential fix for this that would be amazing I would just like to play apex but this is hindering me from doing so.
