Screen tearing with G-Sync Monitor

Hey guys, I just startet playing Apex Legends and noticed the first time in my gaming history of 18 years screen tearing.
I have a g-sync monitor ( ASUS PG278QR ) and a system that should be able to handle this game without major problems ( 8700k @ 4,7ghz, 1080ti ).

I tried chaning settings for the gaming in the nvidia control panel so I'm making sure vsync is off but I still get tearing.
Since I play on the highest settings the framerate usually stay below 140fps, so it's not like my hardware is pushing fps like crazy.

Anyone there having the same issue or a possible fix for this? Would be pretty sad to be the first game since every other game runs smooth as * ☹️

Try to set V-sync ON in NVCP and OFF in game. Also put +fps_max 141 in Origin-game properties-advance launch options. It should fix your problem.

Follow @Leon1008 his advice, should fix the problem.

Make sure you have the latest GPU drivers installed and windows is up-to-date.

Does that increase lag at all?

No, it doesn't. V-sync On in NVCP with G-sync monitor works differently than without G-sync.
