Season 12 apex stuttering (pc)

I have this same issue since the start of this season (12) too! The stuttering is making the game unplayable for me.
Every 5 seconds or so the game freezes for half a second with the Prediction Error icon. When I get into combat, the game freezes for the majority of the gunfight duration, as if I was watching a 5-frame slideshow of me getting downed. Absolutely unplayable.
I do notice that whenever the game is running this season, my laptop becomes irresponsive too. CPU usage is always at 100%, but Apex isn't the task that use the majority of it. It's Antimalware Service Executable, whose CPU usage spikes up everytime I start Apex. I tried the fix here (it's been someone's problem since S5). It worked for my first match, but in the second match the stuttering is back again. CPU usage still maxed 100%.
Every other games run just fine, this issue only happens to Apex.
Today I just updated to Windows 11, the issue is still there too.
Really hope it'd be different next season.
