SERVER ERROR when buying skin with Apex coins. SCAM?

I tried to buy the skin "Angel City Pacer" for Pathfinder. It said I need to add 1800 Apex coins to purchase it so I bought 2150 Apex coins. When I try to buy this skin I only get "SERVER ERROR" and ...

Hi, thanks for getting back so quickly. There's no need for the ticket info, I can check that on my end. 

I suspect this is rotated out for now and the direct purchase *should* have been removed from the Armory, but I want to look into it before i can confirm.

Does this mean everyone who tried to buy this skin this way will not be allowed to get it?
