Thanks for the updates everyone.
Have you tried using a different DNS to see if that makes any difference at all? If you're playing on PS4 you can change the DNS using the following steps:
1. Open up your PS4 Settings and go to Network
2. Select Set Up Internet Connection
3. Choose WiFi or LAN Cable depending on what type of connection you're using
4. Select IP Address Settings (Automatic)
5. Select DHCP Host Name (Do Not Use)
6. Choose DNS Settings (Manual)
7. Enter 8.8.8.8 as the Primary DNS and 8.8.4.4 as the Secondary DNS. This is the public Google DNS, but if there's a different DNS you would prefer using instead that's OK as well.
8. Select MTU Settings (Automatic)
9. Select Proxy Server (Do Not Use)
10. Choose Test Internet Connection to confirm the changes
Let me know if you're still running into the same issues with stuttering or lag after that. Thanks!

- 5 years ago@EA_Kent Yes it dosnt make a difference changing the dns on the ps4 still really bad stuttering in game and it's definitely a server issue that's causing it just please listen to use and fix it as it's hard for us to play the game it's a simple server fix/update because the servers are getting hammed
- 5 years ago@EA_Kent Thanks for follow up. I'm on Xbox One. I did the clear mac or cache thing already. If there's anything else I should try, pls lemme know.
- 5 years ago@EA_Kent Any advice for xbox or PC users? This is still happening to lots of ppl. I don't understand how you can be silent on something that appears to be systemic for many of us. Well over half (probably 60-70%) of games do this now.

@EA_Kent I'm chiming in to report that I'm having issues of this sort on the PC as well; There seems to be something stopping a lot of people from connecting reliably to EA's servers.
I'm on PC using Steam:Processor
AMD Ryzen 7 - 2700 (8-Core 3.2 Ghz)
Graphics Card
ASRock Phantom Gaming D Radeon RX 5500 XT 8G OC Video Card, RX5500XT PGD 8GO
RAM
64 GB (4x16 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2666)
I have 1Gbps Internet with very little packet loss. I can play Boarderlands 3 - Dead By Daylight, etc without lag or any other issues.
I've troubleshot extensively, and no matter what happens, it's always the same for me:
Servers report good ping 20-40ms; I connect to my default, The ping wildly goes from ~30-200ms.
The game seems smooth, but when interactions happen, it gets choppy and laggy. It obviously makes gameplay tedious, if not, impossible.
I've never had issues like this before; this is new (since the last patch).
Other games work just fine.
Cleanbooting my PC yeilds the same performance issues.
I've checked with my ISP and there aren't congestion / performance issues
I was using CloudFire Public DNS; Have removed it to using whatever Window's default is, no change.
I tried launching the program as Admin outside of Steam; the issue is the same.
Interesting thing is there's certain hours, usually in the morning / early afternoon that the game runs flawlessly. But later in the evening, it drops to unplayable.
This seems like a server-load issue, But I don't have the data to confirm that. There ARE people that seem to be able to play without issue, so I may be at a loss for what to do. I'm an IT guy, and have exhausted everything my brain, google and these forums could offer.
When I contacted Technical support, all I got was the same info I googled and a refusal to provide anything concrete that these issues are being addressed beyond "Yes, they know about it, and you just have to wait." I'm still a little angered by that interaction because I want to be able to play my game and get the lofty 100 Knockouts goal before Fight Night is over for good. I can't do it with this lag... I'm pretty upset and kinda regret sinking hundreds of dollars into this game to receive this kind of support. Kashish really should re-evaluate his Customer Service skills... Anywho. Do we have any update on this? - EA_Kent5 years ago

Thanks for the updates everyone.
Which datacenter are you normally connecting to? Have you tried connecting to any others to test and see if that makes any difference at all?
