Same issue! So, everything was fine for me (in Vienna) and my friend (in Frankfurt) until few weeks back. What basically happens is, some games instantly start with loss/choke indication and the game is simply not playable, beacuse the screen just jumps around (for both of us). It ALWAYS happens to both of us simultaneously (100%). We then try to leave the game or die instantly, however the game wont connect to lobby so we need to ALT+F4. After that, we chage the server and everything is fine again for a few games, then rinse-repeat. We found that the Belgian Servers are more stable (it happened there only twice), whereas the Frankfurt servers are trash. I am saying it is the servers, because if it were the connections (both +175MB connceitons with low latency) there would be no chance that both of us face the same issue 100% simultaneoulsy. Is there a known issue/fix? Maybe we need to change some connectivity settings? Can it be due to Windows?
because im the only one expericing it whenever i get it and solo queue into lobbies whenever im asking if any1 haves loss/choke they say NO.
are some apex accounts bugged or whats happening? im trying to fix this with a mod from here for around 2weeks but nothing seems to help.
- 4 years ago@iOverFreaked_u Server problems can arise out of nowhere and there is not much we can do about that on our end. Sometimes servers get so congested they start to get unhealthy. Servers work like us when we get sick. This may happen even if they aren't filled or congested. And if could be just the region sustaining problems.
Have you tried changing regions? Hosts if playing with friends? Tried a VPN?- 4 years ago@Tradables Yeah, i have one screen in my thread its almost all regions that show packet loss.. I just reinstalled in on Steam but nothing seems to work.
its defiently not a problem from my side i just done a speed test again 250 m/bit.
Also i dont get this in any game tested couple of games and they are not giving me any laggs / loss / choke- 4 years ago@iOverFreaked_u It could be one of two things, or honestly even both.
- connectivity in your city/state/province are having issues pumping out speeds / throttling / weaker nodes in your area to be able to have a strong connection to the data centers for apex.
- there are server problems with connecting you to data centers in your area. (That would normally give off low ping)
My advice would be to contact your isp and double check everything.
Make sure your drivers (all drivers) are updated.
Make sure your router/modem are updated, this can cause multiple problems
Make sure that there aren't any intermitined internet issues on your end, which you can call your ISP and have someone make sure everything is running and there are no damages to your hardware. Can try and show them for your game(s) or other services you're having issues with to see if they can pin point an answer for you if it is local.

Hey bro @iOverFreaked_u , can u do something for me:
if u open cmd - command prompt type the following :
ipconfig - check what your gateway is on your ethernet adapter.- -Once u have that gateway - can u try to ping it by typing the following:
"ping 192.168.62.1" - yours could be different just ping the IP address that shows as your gateway.
-Once u have done that send us a screenshot of what ping you are getting to your local LAN gateway. - u can run it for longer by typing -t at the end to make it continuous.
or else if u are more technical u can do a MTR using MTR software and run that for like 30seconds to your gateway.
just want to see if its an issue with your Cable / Network Adapter or LAN.
if u get constant - 1ms then u are good to go.
"Reply from 192.168.62.1: bytes=32 time<1ms TTL=64"
then it means the issue could be your ISP.
The next stage would be to ping your local ISP gateway or do a MTR & see if there is any latency between your home router and the ISP gateway (where your modem connects to the internet from the ISP)
if there are no losses or packet drops there.
next step is to run a ping / traceroute - MTR to an apex legends server and see if u are getting any losses
Here are 2 IP addresses for London / UK Apex Servers which u can test with: - 88.150.206.128
- 88.150.206.131
- -Once u have that gateway - can u try to ping it by typing the following:
