Server lags high ping

i use PC updated windows and drivers - and my internet is fine and every other online game works fine

Can EA reps tell us if this is true?

I play Apex Legends on a fantastically stable 400mb Broadband Cable ISP with a solid ping of <16ms according to the Ookla Speedtest Desktop App and their website. I also (due to Apex lag) had my ISP monitor my internet connection for a week and the log they came back with was amazing. It was totally stable the entire time, no ping increase or speed drops.

When I play, I usually get 30-50ms ping, but every now and then, a game will give me a real headache with lags, jumps, pushbacks, stutters and very high random ping +100ms.

Then the very next game is fine.

Can EA/Respawn tell us if this is the anti-cheat catching or watching cheaters in the game because this would explain it and would make amends that it is cheaters and not our ISP's or your servers. It actually makes it completely bearable because then I know I might be in a lobby with cheaters and I'd care much less about that particular game. In fact we should all bail on that lobby until the cheaters realise we bail when they use cheats due to lag!

Ive noticed an increase in PING on all the servers. I play in South Africa so I'm used to a PING of 164, but suddenly this season its 172 all the time!!! Plus you can really FEEL the high ping. Please look into this

So on Sydney servers i get 52 - 55 ping around there, i went into game itself opened up the menu for settings and leave game, the ping underneath them said 200 ping, but it jumps randomly, it can go up to 300 ping, but for me that seems to be a visual bug as the game seems to run fine, which is odd as it tells me different pings and the main menu ping the 52 - 55 seems to be the right one. 

@VampyrVenom No. I just played. It does lag and the ping does go up & down. Sometimes I ran sometimes I walk(I'm in robot mode).

If your at lobby, each time press ESC you will notice the ping is higher than when you login and it fluctuates. 

Apex shows me I got 41 in Ping and no packet loss or jitter, but it still laggin...

The graphic I use is 1440p with a GTX 1080 Ti with mid/ low set and steady 144 FPS.
