When I try to use window's fix-it on "Microsoft Visual C++ 2012 Redistributable Package 11.0.61030", I get this error saying "setup failed" and asks me to restart my computer but I still won't be able to uninstall it after restarting and I still get the same error when I try to install the game, so what can I do?
Hi, all. For me, this was due to having VC++ 2017 installed. 2017 replaces 2015, but it looks like the installer only checks for 2015, even though 2017 fully replaces it. I had to uninstall the 2017 version, then I manually install 2015. After that, the game continued downloading after checking for the VC++ installs at 38%. There might be a similar problem for other versions of VC++. To find out which one is giving you the problem, go to your install folder (Origin Games\Apex\__Installer\vc) and manually try to run each version in that vc folder. Find the one that fails, and go from there.
