Hey guys.
Like a lot of you, i spent many days trying to find out what was the problem with the installation of Apex Legends but I finally found MY problem. Hope it will be your too, in that case I can solve it. 🙂
By looking at Tasks Manager during the installation, I saw that was Microsoft visual c++ 2010 which couldn't install.
So I went to Apex/_Installer/vc/vc2010sp1/redist and tried to launch the .exe manually. It didn't work.
But more specifically, it said that another installation was running.
By looking at Tasks Manager again, I tried to find what was processing and finally found NeroUpdate.
I ended the task, launched vc++ 2010 manually again and it did the trick !
I started Apex installation again, and it ran all the Microsoft vc++ and finished to install !
I really hope it can work for you too ! If you don't have NeroUpdate, it might be another app which could have an "update" process blocking the installation.
Apologies for my english since it's not my native langage.
thanks!
that really fixed it for me!
