sound bug - Can´t hear in front or behind of me
Hi,
with Apex Legends I´ve got a very strange bug. Basically, I only hear what is on the side of me. Everything in front or behind of my Camera is getting very silent untill becoming not audible when I have the source directly in front of me. I assume that the system thinks I have more than just two speakers, basically thinking I run a 4.0 setting while it´s only 2.0? Unfortunately there are no sound options for output devices. And for Windows it´s the standart "Speakers (High Definition Audio Device)" I couldn´t find anything to adjust this, and never saw such a problem with any other game... Same problems also accurs when using headphones, both, speakers and headphones are connected over plug, not USB.
- Yes, this is exactly my problem too! There is definitely something messed up with the positional audio in this game. I actually am running a quadraphonic speaker setup but I have to switch to stereo mode (Sound control panel > Playback > [output device] > Configure) to actually hear things properly. Hopefully they can fix this annoying bug!
