Sounds are mostly not working on Mixtape games - troubleshooting help needed

I have been wondering why the sounds are not functioning correctly in Apex legends when playing e.g. mixtape game mode in Apex Legends. Most of the times there are no enemy sounds in the battlefields and sometimes even in the menus the sounds are cutting off in the middle of the sound/voice lines.

Yesterday I tried to find out if my system have some issues regarding the sounds by doing the following tests with two of my computers:

a) Windows 11, Tomahawk B550 MSI AM4, 5900X cpu, nvidia 4090 and Sound Blaster G6 sound card.(with latest motherboard driver set and BIOS  from MSI).

b) Windows 11, 109 years old Asus x99 intel motherboard, Xeon E5 2697 v3, nvidia 3050, Steelseries Arctic Pro Wireless.

Played about 3 games with a) and b) and for some reason sounds in the Mixtape games worked better on the system b) with only some cutting sounds in the menus but the sounds in-game were much better / working.

Also my old gaming computer was AMD B450 with GPU 6800 gpu and I have suffered with similar issues in sounds on this setup too.

Can someone confirm if you do suffer cracking/missing/cutting off sounds in Mixtape game mode when you are using recent Intel system with nvidia graphics adapter?

I am not saying that amd causes the issues here on the sounds and amd have made (hopefully) the final bug fix the their usb stack to remove issues there but there is a slight change that their AGESA fix is still not yet done or it is impossible to fix.

Best regards,

I have been debugging this issue further. It seems that AMD B550 is faulty and it has inaccurate Real Time Clock. This can be easily checked by using CPU-z Timers feature.

The one way to "fix" this issue is to transfer data to a USB 3.0 dongle and then measure the Real Time Clock by using CPU-z. When data transfer is active, RTC is very accurate but when USB 3.0 memory dongle is disconnected and data is not being transaferred RTC gets back to inaccurate.

This is a bug  in AMD's motherboard drivers and / or AMD system as a whole and this must have something to do with AGESA drivers being still faulty (latest version). Considering RMA your AMD B550's asap as there are no known fix for this.
