Starterror 30004

Hi,

When I install Apex Legends I get the error:

Error: A redistributable package (EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe) was not installed successfully. Setup can not continue. (4) (attached)

Reinstallation of orinigin and / or apex does not solve the problem I can start Apex (appears as installed) and get the error code: 30004 (attached)  

When I run the EasyAntiCheat_Setup.exe and try to fix the installation I get the error 1072 I have and never had an anti-virus installed that could cause problems

    Hey @Esclink, if posting on the English AHQ you would need to post any error messages in English.

    What you can try in this situation is going to your install folder and installing easy cheat directly from there,  you can find it in your default C:Origin\Apex\EasyAntiCheat. From here right click on EasyAntiCheat_Setup and run as admin.

    Sorry about the German AHQ but the erros displayed are actually still english.

    I already tried installing EAC then i get the "EAC.PNG" error as described.

    Sorry that image didn't load for me last time @Esclink.


    That error would appear to point to your anti-virus or firewall blocking it.

    Can you go ahead and try disabling both and then repair EAC.

    If it works great, just add an exception for EAC and the game to both.

    If it doesn't work then get back to me and we will take it from there.

    I tried to repair the EasyAntiCheat and it says:
    Error: CopyFile failed with 32

    Sorry to hear that you are still having issues @Esclink.


    That error still points to an issue with EAC, did you try disabling your anti-virus and firewall as I suggested?

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin

    Is where the Visual C++ files are located (vcredist etc).. Install all of them.. 2015 might not install if you already have 2017

    Even i had the same problem after todays update. I disabled my anti virus and the game launched.
