Stutter and lag on high quality system AMD

Hi!!

This is to everyone that has or is experiencing stutter and lag on systems on which Apex should otherwise be working flawlessly on, in particular Ryzen systems.

My stutter and lagg has become completely resolved for an absolute buttersmooth experience after setting infinity fabric to exactly half of the ram speed for my Ryzen 3600 system.

Remeber to use a calculator!!

Best of luck.

  • @Meatchen Good to hear the game runs great now. If you run into further issue I would recommend trying some of the following:

    • Check for Windows and GPU updates
    • Ensure your Security software is not blocking Origin or Apex
    • Repair Origin Verify - Steam
    • Clear Origin Cache
    • Disable Origin in-game overlay and any additional Overlay you have
    • Clean Boot

I only experince strange teleportions, rubber banding and lagg when i am stressed, have uni related exams or drink a cup of coffee. EA could analyze the ways people play under the influence and have Gibby exclaim that he is proud of the no caffeine streak🙂

The normal, non psychological mind related stutters were a result of incorrectly applied infinity fabric to my ram XMP. I selected 1800mhz for my 3200mhz ram speed (200mh too much if the 1:1:1 ratio is to be satisfied) This did something to my NON oc 5700xt making it behave really strange. The game seemed to have problems with timings between the frames, the sound and the inputs. The game just feel wierd and my gpu was getting way too hot. Im talking about very minute but annoying variations which trew off the experince a little too much.

HPET off gave a boost in fps.

    Mind aside, game runs great!
