Community Manager@SpectreFang What type of FPS are you getting in game? Have you tried playing with in-game settings?
I barely get 60. And the CPU usage is quite high . Lot of users are facing the same issue on reddit thread too.

All my settings are set to low. Resolution is 1920*1080
@EA_Illium@EA_Illium Regardless of the FPS cap I choose, I keep on getting +90% CPU usage ever since this patch, causing the game to stutter and crash after character selection screen.
I'm running on Windows 10 LTSC thro Steam, on a i7-2600k. I have not had these issues before this patch, I have streams that show this as proof. I'm not the only one experiencing this, even console players are experiencing worse performance. And not even that, the above 190fps bug that has been a thing since the launch of this game also wasn't fixed, even though the developers mentioned it should be.

I am experiencing this issue as well and have gone through 4 EA advisors with no help. Even with dropping affinity cpu count, the game is still impossible to play with FPS fluctuating between 20 and 60 with stutters and freezes still. This issue isn't even on the dev tracker that the advisor tagged and sent me, is this issue even being looked at?

please, stop to give us generic solutions that doesn't work. everyone knows it's began since genesis update.
I have the same stuttering issues but with no 100% CPU usage. it's impossible to play with this FPS lags and my boyfriend have the same computer than me with the same internet conection because he live 5 min away from me and he don't have the same problem.
many players have this issue with many computer spects, using console, etc.
it's frustrating how u guys don't say anything or give any solution.
I'm having the same problem with high GPU/CPU usage on PC to where it stutters so bad and the fps is so bad I can barely play. Before genesis update I was getting 75fps anywhere on any map on any mode. I've tried every little trick that has been posted and have tinkered with my computer as much as I can. The best I can do is get the CPU/GPU usage down but the stuttering stays no matter what. I know my PC isn't the best but like I said before update I was locked in at 75fps. Please help, I couldn't play the only three day weekend I had off work in awhile and it was depressing:/
My specs are;
CPU: I7-4790k
GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 6gb
16gb 1600mhz ddr3 ram
All drivers were also checked for updates.
Thank you so much and I hope it gets fixed soon. Apex is pretty much the only thing I enjoy outside of work :/
- they won't fix it, they can't, people look for solutions on their own, support and developers do nothing about it or pretend that nothing is happening, I have been struggling with stuttering since season 7, I note that another game, apart from Apex Stutter Legends, is great , recently they promised to fix the stuttering problem, there was a twitter post about it and what? you can guess the rest for yourself ..., let me cut it short and since a lot of people have this problem and nobody can help, you have to thank only the developers and support that they cannot take care of the players.

Whilst I deleted the game several days ago for the foreseeable or at least until I hear these issues are resolved I still regularly visit various forums,performance center sites etc to find out information & the general consensus I see is a lot of frustration,anger & disappointment with the game at present but no acknowledgement,answers or solutions to the problems just a deathly silence.from Respawn.
