Teammate Voice Chat Volume VERY Low

Hello,

I can barely heard the voice chat for most of my friends when we crossplay.  I can only hear them when there is no other game sounds going on, so it's essentially worthless when there's any sort of fighting going on.  It's really making my friends and me frustrated because we can't coordinate at all.  I have Master volume set to 10%, incoming voice volume at 100%, and have tried various combinations of all volume sliders.

No, this is not my friends sensitivity being too high. I can hear them come through, albeit very quietly, when no other game sound is going on.  Their mics are queuing.

I play on PC, it's a brand new, clean build, latest windows and drivers, this affects my friends on PC and PS4 and 5.

I've found a handful of similar posts on issues just like mine, but literally no resolution and just CMs asking the same questions over and over.

The only thing I can find is MAYBE it has to do with Corsair iCUE, but again, no final resolution determined by anyone.  I use a Corsair Virtuoso headset.  I've played around with various audio channel sliders, have tried wired and wireless mode, and just simply turning my headset volume up.  But literally NOTHING works to improve this.

It's getting to the point where I'm just going to quit because I can't effectively play with friends.  This game is 2 years old and still has these audio bugs?

Attached screenshot of audio settings.

Any help from anyone to resolve this would be awesome.

Thanks.

    Hey @Vega058

Is this only happening with people on other platforms, or does it also happen with other PC players as well?

    /Kent

  • Hi Kent,

Thank you for the reply. As I mentioned above, this seems to be affecting people on all platforms for me. There is one friend I know plays on ps5 and he is slightly louder than the rest but that may honestly be because he's kind of a loud mouth anyways.

My main partner also plays on pc and he is so quiet that I've had to resort to him getting on a private discord call with me just so I can hear him, but I can't hear anyone else in the squad during fights.

I'm going to try and old headset and a work meeting headset later tonight and will post the results.

    Thanks.

    Hey @DestructionLord0

Would you mind posting a DxDiag when you've got the chance? You can find more info on how to grab one at the EA Help website

Once you have the text file please attach it to this thread. Thanks!

    @DestructionLord0

    Thanks! I appreciate that.

Looking through the DxDiag I didn't see anything that really stands out. Have you had the chance to try starting up your PC in a Clean Boot to see if you notice a difference?

For more info on how to set up a Clean Boot check out the EA Help website. Let me know how that goes when you're able to give it a try.

    Thanks!
