Hey @AraDyalan
Apex legends is getting flagged by Avast as Malware.
They are aware of this issue and they are investigating this.
However, to be able to play Apex you will have to set it as an exception for now.
I'll leave the steps how you can set Apex as a exception in you Anti Virus.
- Open the Avast user interface
- go to Settings
- Click on General
- Find the tab Exclusions
- Add: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Origin Games\Apex\r5apex.exe" here.
This should most of the time be the location Apex is installed. - Press "Ok" and Repair Apex Legends.
If you have done these steps you should be able to play. :eahigh_file:

Hey @AraDyalan
You don't need to download that file from anywhere, just repair the game and launch it from the Origin client.
- 6 years ago@Zeelmaekers this does not work I just repaired the game but it is still saying the launch error missing file r5apex.exe
- 6 years ago@AraDyalan and I got the file back but have this error again ea fix your game

Yeah same error, I went into Origin and right clicked then clicked repair and that didn't fix it.
