The pop-up for cross progression not popping up?

When my friend loads Apex up the pop-up doesn't show up to merge accounts. We are trying to merge our xbox accounts to our steam accounts. what can we do to fix this?

    " To ensure a smooth transition, we will roll it out to players in groups. This means you might not get Cross Progression right away at season launch.



    When your account is ready to Cross Progress, you will see a window when you log into the game. Follow the instructions on these screens and once completed your account will be cross progressed."

    So basically they are going to do it in groups (based off of whatever platform) so there are no problems to be created once cross progression gets to you.

    @TheRedLion93 Hello can you tell me when will like all players of apex get the pop out for cross progression. Im trying to say what is the max time of wait to get the pop up.

    Like I said in my previous post, there’s no exact wait time as to when you’ll receive the pop-up notification for cross progression.

    It’s happening in waves so we all can have a smooth transition. Eventually, you’ll get a notification once you login into Apex Legends.

    My accounts started to merge but not completely. let me explain what happened to me: 

    i launched the game from steam and i noticed that i am in a club. it is the club i was in when i played on ps4. which means my ps4 and steam accounts are merged. however i am back to lvl 1; with no skin, no nothing, no creds... i used to have many skins, i was lvl +200, had creds. i never received the invite for the crossprogression thing. i am not sure why it happened. i am scared that i'll never receive the invite and will never get my items back...

    Hi @Alicesatouu,

    If you haven't seen the notification pop up in-game, the merge has not yet occurred for your account.

    If you're back to level 1 that sounds like you had unlinked that platform from the EA account where that progress was originally earned.

    Progress is stored on the EA account and cannot be transferred to another EA account which is why you're seeing that one is back to level 1.

    You would need to re-link the original account to restore that progress. If you're running into any trouble with that re-linking process you can contact support so they can take a look.

    I see, so all I have to do is wait for the pop up? Or do I have to relink my steam account to the EA account? (which can only be done after a certain amount of time). thank you for you time and reply

    @Alicesatouu 

    If you wanted to keep the progress you had on that Steam account, you'll need to link it back to its original EA account, correct.

    If it's kept on the new EA account, you'll just have access to whatever progress was earned on that EA account instead. If you had any skins or other content you wanted to keep, you'll need to re-link.

    If needed, you can reach out to support so they can assist further with that linking process.
