Two people on two seperate xbox accounts under one ea id got merged

I share an ea id with my brother and we both have separate xbox accounts. Today I just got on and both our accounts were merged (neither of us merged them) and I lost all my stats and now we can't play at the same time. Is there any way to separate or get MY stuff back or do I have to make a new ea id to get my own personal xbox account? Plus I have spent a couple $100 on items could I get like a refund or something?

Oh man that is not so good.

One EA ID is = to one EA account, that it was accessed from two different x-box accounts can explain the separate progression on two different consoles however with the merge it merged to the one EA account.

Sharing EA accounts is specifically mentioned in the user agreement as a no no https://www.ea.com/legal/user-agreement

I do not see how you will be able to get a refund and you will probably have to make a new different EA ID/account for your own console if possible.

You will however have to unlink the shared EA ID account from your X-box:

If you can’t link your platform account to another EA Account, it likely means you’ve already linked a platform account of the same type to that EA Account

You can only link one type of platform account to your EA Account once in its lifetime. For example, if you unlink an Xbox gamertag from your EA Account, you can’t link a different Xbox gamertag to the same account in the future.

All your EA game progress is linked to your EA Account, not your platform account. If you decide to unlink your platform account from one EA Account and link it to another, you’ll lose your game progress.

I hope this helps you out.
