Two Xbox Series X, Two Profiles, Same Network, and Only One Will Join a Game
I'm posting here for general trouble shooting. I am not sure if this is an issue with Apex, or my home network. Everything was working normally up until the most recent update (Upheaval Patch) but now only one of the Xbox's in my home will connect in a match. We are on the same network, using separate profiles on each device, and we use the home sharing of Xbox live. We can join the same lobby but once the game launches only one of us makes it to the character select screen, and then into the match. When this happens, there is no error code, and the person who did not connect experiences a game freeze that often requires them to reboot the game.
The confounding factor is that we tried to connect using separate Wifi networks and were able to enter the same match. We used a hotspot for one device, so the game experience was far from ideal. The fact that two networks were able to connect makes me think it may be an issue with our network, but we have not changed a single thing from when it was working normally. The only new addition is the Upheaval Patch.
This is only happening with Apex. We've tested on other games (Xdefiant, & COD) and are able to join matches together normally. I cannot find any info about problems like this. Any insight would be extremely valuable as I'm kind of at a loss as to how to resolve this.
