Unable to connect to EA-Servers

Hi Guys

i currently reside in south africa.....and since getting into apex season 3 i have had this constant problem with trying to log into apex, i am literally on the point of deleting this game that it has become such a problem. (attached picture of error

i constantly have to keep retrying until i log in which sometimes takes 15-20 tries or doesnt even work at times. i currently play on the PS4, below are the solutions ive tried

-i have tried clearing the cache(by restarting the system or even turning it off and retrying)

-Tried changing the data centre(generally play on london, somtimes try 3-4 below that but don't wanna try the others as the ping is to high then)

-also normally try to turn off and then on my router.

-i normally play with a connected ethernet cable but have also tried with wifi and also still the same problem

Does it have to do with my origin account how does one then do it on the PS4, there are alot of times i do play, but this constant retrying all the time is getting tedious now.

have also been kicked of the game like 2-3 times but not enough to actually complain about it.

I recently helped someone else from South Africa and his problem was solved by using a VPN/GPN.
For a VPN is recommend: Tunnelbear, for GPN I recommend WT Fast

Let me know if this improved your connection

can't get into the game with my original acc; which is dope
it gives me; unable to connect ea servers.. error but if I try with another acc it loads in just fine?

This is strange i saw youre post and had the same problem
So i made another account to try if that works, and yes i can connect

I can connect with my original account atm; I did nothing to change the situation
played with another acc all day long yesterday and it was fixed today, ea and his great servers I guess xd

at the start screen where you can choose the server and such I press start to log into the game and it stops responding in my xbox the loading symbol doesn't move and nothings happened for the past thirty minutes, I've tried connecting to a other server as well.

Many people have the same. I've been trying to fix the problems via google and the different answers for all connection problems for a week. But nothing worked. Call cencert says the developers know about the problem for a few weeks but still not fixed it.

Thanks for the swift reply, will be trying the DNS option when i get back from work today.
Otherwise excuse my lack of tech savyniss but how does one implement the VPN and GPN on the PS4 pro?

Hey @Jpoelofse1986

The first step is to change your DNS and see if that's possible.

To use a VPN on your PS4 you will have to route your connection through your PC (via a ethernet cable) with the VPN.
This is only a workaround not a real fix
