Ever since the Genesis update, I have been stuck on the black loading screen for 5-7 minutes. On entering the game, Trying to switch game modes, or even changing my settings, causes my game to stop responding for about 5 minutes. I can load into a game, but it is too much of an issue for me to really play this game smoothly right now. I hope this can be fixed, and please, any help is appreciated.
PC Specs:
i7-9700K
RTX 3060 Ti
32 GB 3200Mhz RAM
What I have tried:
Restarting game,
Restarting PC,
Updating all drivers,
Switching to other internet connection,
Reinstalling game,
Reinstalling origin + game,
Making an alternate origin account,
Trying on another PC.
Bottom Line: Haven't played Apex for 3 days and might have to go and touch grass.

- I have the same issue, I’m stuck at the black screen with the red logo and if I manage to get past it I can’t get into a game or game freezes after I change game mode
I tried repairing the game, unistalling and installing again from origin and steam.
I tried clearing the cache game and nothing worked

yepp same here. They really messed something up... and no work from anyone. Fun times.

Same issue, played a game before the update and worked without a problem.
Right after the issues started. Super long time before I even connect to a server. 95% of the time I get the error Code:Pin (yeah super useful...) and after retrying I do eventually connect.
However whenever when I click to change the gamemode the frames drop from a steady 144 FPS to single digits.I'll post my DxDiag in advance.

Same issue.
* restarted computer
* restarted modem/router
* run UOTrace (results were fine)
* uninstalled/reinstalled game
* installed via a different client (typically run on Origin, installed via steam and encountered same issue)
Worked before the Genesis update fine.

I'm having the same issue. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the game twice. I have reset my router and downloaded this program uotrace and still nothing. I've been having this issue every since this last update. They need to fix it! I haven't had any problems up until this update. Nobody has any answers to this problem.....

Same issue for me. So far I have tried the following without success.
- restarted steam
- restarted computer
- reinstalled game
- repaired game files (via steam)
- cleared steam cache
- repaired windows files (via system file checker)

Same exact problem , can't load in any servers.
ea seriously has to fix this issue.
they release 1 day map .. can't effin play on it because they can't manage to fix simple bug
and this is by far not the only problem they have
