Unlimited fps setting not working anymore

I typed in +fps_max unlimited into the apex game properties Saturday and it was working. I restarted my pc on Sunday and ever since I've been capped at 136. I have tried reinstalling and re-typing the command in the properties. I didn't change anything else on my rig between it working and no longer working.
