unsupported file system

i havent played apex in a while and my friends wanted me to join but i had to update and when i tried to update it (steam) it just said unsupported file system, also apex doesnt work do0wnloading on origin and theres not even a chance at trying to help me on that one, but if i get some help on the unsupported file system error on steam maybe it could work.
