Video settings do not save

@sigxo Hello there, have you tried to go to
C:\Users\[THIS_IS_YOUR_USERNAME]\Saved Games\Respawn\Apex and edit the files inside this map to verify if this changes anything?

@sigxo That's weird, because the videoconfig.txt in the saves games/respawn/apex should be the same for both EA App and Steam

try going there manually via the windows file explorer, and if you find it, check and see if the file is set to "read only" in the file permissions

i have mine set to read only because i disabled shadows via the videoconfig.txt and if i change a video setting in game, it will be reset when i launch the game mext time (because the videoconfig file is read only so no changes can be saved)

try verifying files in steam on apex

also, maybe a long shot, but if you copied the file path in the other person's message, you used your windows username right? and not your apex username (i know long shot lol)
