Voice chat not working in game

For some reason no matter what settings I put the game to, my game doesn't pick up my mic.  I've tried push to talk and open mic and lowering the threshold and it doesnt recognize that my mic is even on.  My mic works in other programs and other games but Apex seems to not like my mic.  Anyone else having a similar issue, or am I missing something obvious?

    i was having the same problem but as it turns out windows defaulted a controller as default input so try checking your default devices and insuring your input is indeed your mic and restart game if currently running while doing so hope this helps

    I fix mine by going to orign apex game setting and REPAIR 😉 FIXED !!

    The same thing was happening with my friend but not me. Now for the last 2 days, no one can hear me at all. So annoying!

    It has to be something in the game files because the same thing is happening on console.

    Same thing is going on with me I play Apex Legends and sometimes it works I can talk to and hear my teammates but then most of the time they can hear me but I can't hear them during a game. I am going through three different headsets the rig 700 the rig 500 and now self feed 600 same issue on all 3 headsets I believe it is the game because Black Ops 4 & other games I have no issues with only on apex. I have tried messing with all the audio settings i can and still nothing changes. Can anyone tell me how to fix this pleasse.

    Go to settings, audio, disable voice chat. Make sure this option is "Off"
