Voice Chat not working

Hello, I never had an issue with my microphone being detected and functioning properly in-game before. Recently my headset microphone broke and I had to get a standalone microphone. The microphone itself works, there's no issues with getting it to work on discord, through windows feedback settings, et cetera. Steam recognizes it and I can hear myself through it in the steam setting for microphones. I can't get it to work in Apex anymore.

I could really use some help here- I do not want to re-install the game.
