What's up with peekers advantage?

Is Apex now holding the title for the worst peeker's advantage or is there some hack that lets cheaters teleport and prefire you before you even see them around corners?

Not in 20 seasons  I have had so many 1 mag corner deaths and nothing has changed on my side.

This feels worse than Valorant now.
